Every flight result gets a SimpliValue™ recommendation score that combines multiple signals to surface the best overall option, not just the cheapest.

What goes into the score?

• Price efficiency — How does this fare compare to the cheapest available?
• Stops — Nonstop flights score higher. Each connection costs points.
• Departure time — Red-eye flights score lower.
• Award value — For award results, cents-per-point vs. the cheapest cash fare. Excellent redemptions (1.5¢+/pt) score much higher.
• Seat preferences — Plus/Pro users get a bonus for flights likely to have preferred seats available.

The “Recommended” badge goes to the top-scoring result in each set.
